Leta Eileen Beltz, 89, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Villages of Jackson Creek. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28th in Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence.
Leta was born October 31, 1930, in Hammon, Indiana, the daughter of George G. and Lillian Z. (Pittman) Williams. She married Myron D. Beltz on July 18, 1947 and had been married for 64 years when he preceded her in death in 2012. Leta was also preceded in death by sister, Imogene Cotton; her twin sister, Rita Lowther; and twin sons, David A. Beltz and Danny M. Beltz.
Her survivors include son, Robert D. Beltz and his wife LeeAnn; daughter, Myra E. Burton and her husband, Jim Burton; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
