Linda Sue O’Hare, 64, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO, surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16th at The Fieldhouse, 1300 SE 30th Street, Oak Grove, MO 64075, with Memorial following at 4:00 p.m.
Linda was born on November 2, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Clara (Ostrom) LeFevre. She was a 1976 graduate of Oak Grove High School. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren, caring for her animals, and attending float trips with her family. Although she only had six grandchildren, she was known by many as “Granny”.
Linda was a stay-at-home mom where she raised her two children. After her children were grown, she worked as the Food Service Director in the Oak Grove School District for many years. Following her retirement, Linda spent her days reading, sewing, cooking, bowling, and attending the events of her grandchildren.
Linda’s survivors include two daughters: Ammie Holtorf (David) and Melinda Armstrong (James), both of Oak Grove; six grandchildren: Lexi, Austin, Brody, Annika, Haiden, and Lily; two sisters: Cheryl Ambrose (Doug) and Bobbi Wainscott (Doug); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
