Dolly Ann Bolinger, 86, of Independence, Missouri, passed away September 17, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 22, 2017 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Heart of America Chapter, 3846 W. 75th Street Prairie Village, KS 66208.
Dolly was born on December 23, 1930 in Weir, KS, daughter of Arthur and Esther (Kapple) Larson. She married Jack Bolinger on February 12, 1949. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, volunteered at the Grain Valley Food Pantry and was Grain Valley Citizen of the year in 2010. She was a caregiver for many family members, she loved quilting, country music and square dancing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bolinger on March 21, 2006.
Her survivors include her 2 daughters, Cathaleen Biesemeyer of Independence, MO and Gail Fischer (Gerald) of Oak Grove, MO; 2 sons, Michael Bolinger (Jeanne) of Kansas City, MO and Chris Bolinger of Pleasant Hill, MO; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren.
