Cheryl Marie Michael, 75, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence. Services will be held on Thursday, February 12th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO, with visitation at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m.
Cheryl was born February 9, 1950, in Warrensburg, Missouri, the daughter of James and Edith (Bradshaw) Raines. She liked to dance to country music and spend time with her husband, Dennis. Cheryl loved the outdoors and gardening. She enjoyed going to shows in Branson and seeing the sights.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Dennis Michael; four children: Dennis Michael, Kimberly Michael, Christin Morgan, and Nicholas Michael; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.
