Steven Allen Bowlin, 55, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2017. A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Courtyard by Marriott, 1500 NE Coronado Dr., Blue Springs, MO 64014. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bowlin family or their Go Fund Me account.
Steve was born July 14, 1962, in Independence, MO, the son of Robert Bowlin and Rosemary (Sowers) Rose. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bowlin. His survivors include wife, Alicia (Long) Bowlin, of Grain Valley, MO; daughter, Kaitlyn Bowlin, of Grain Valley, MO; son, Derek Bowlin, of Grain Valley, MO; daughter, Hailey Bowlin, of Grain Valley, MO; and grandson, Hunter Bowlin, of Grain Valley, MO; mother, Rosemary Rose, of Bates City, MO; two sisters, Tammy (Tracy) Oldham of Grain Valley, MO, and Cheryl (Joe) Thrasher-Lumbard of Grain Valley, MO; and two brothers, Mike (Ruth) Fisher of Blue Springs, MO, and Bryan (Angie) Rose of Bates City, MO; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
