Richard Lee Johnston – 84 of Oak Grove, Mo passed peacefully in the arms of God, on May 22, 2026 from Dementia and lung cancer. He is now free of pain and of clear mind, vision and hearing.
Richard, born May 23, 1941 to Richard Johnston and Jewell (Featherstone) Johnston in Kansas City, Mo. Survived by his wife Juanita Fern Johnston (Hutton) of Oak Grove, Mo. Richard and Juanita were married on June 24, 1968 in St. Charles, Mo. Where they raised four boys Richard L. Johnston Jr, Michael W. Johnston Sr, Larry E. Johnston and James S. Johnston. Richard worked for General Motors Corp for 30 years in Wentzville, Mo. After retirement Richard and Juantia relocated back to the Kansas City, Mo area.
