Amy Allmon


Amy Allmon, 60, passed away on May 25, 2026. She was born on December 1, 1965.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Glinda (Allmon) Beverly and Marion Allmon, and her brother, Stephen Allmon.

She is survived by her brother, David Allmon and his partner, Michelle Long; her cousins, Kim Tarwater and her husband, Dan, and Jeff Cotterman and his partner, Cheryl Hanlon; her nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Koren, Caleb, Dillon, Arron, and Tyler; and special friends of many years, Laura Wilson and her late husband Art.

Amy recently retired from the IRS after 30 years of dedicated service. Throughout her career, she was known for her professionalism, strong work ethic, and commitment to serving others.

A passionate advocate for motorcycle safety, Amy was actively involved with F.O.R.R., traveling extensively to support legislation and initiatives that promoted the safety and rights of motorcyclists. Through her involvement, she built lasting friendships and made a meaningful impact on the motorcycling community.

Amy will be remembered for her dedication to the causes she believed in, her love of travel, her generous spirit, and the kindness she shared with those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 1829, 5904 Crystal Ave., Kansas City, MO 64129.
