Jeanie M. Wright, 76, of Odessa, MO, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, in Odessa, MO. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20th in Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, MO.
Jeanie was born on December 4, 1949, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Walter and Mildred Liddle. She graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1968. Jeanie then went to work at Hallmark Cards. She later transitioned to health insurance. She was a manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield and continued a career in insurance processing until she retired around 2010. Jeanie married her first love Bill Wright in 1995 and was blessed with two stepdaughters, Tracey Oaks and Kerry Dunn and their families. Jeanie and Bill loved to travel, enjoyed spending time at casinos, and visiting family. She was a kind, wonderful person, full of joy.
Jeanie was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill in 2016, her mother in 1974, and her father in 1997.
Her other survivors include her three sisters: Carol Lowe of Arizona, Kay Johnson, Penny LaJaunie (Brendan), and her twin sister Janie Sanders, all of Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.
