Richard “Rick” Beebe, 62, of Oak Grove, MO, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, surrounded by family.
Rick was born on April 15, 1964, to his parents Barbara Martin and Richard Beebe in Kansas City, MO. He was a 1982 graduate of Scotland County R-1 in Memphis, MO.
Rick enjoyed many things in life, including sports – he played many (football, baseball, basketball) and was a big fan of the KC Royals, KC Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, and Nascar. He also was an avid collector of sports cards / memorabilia and loved smoking meats and spending time with friends, family, and animals.
Rick had a warm and kind heart. We will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by Bonnie Dunsworth (companion), Marty Spence (grandmother), Bill Spence (grandfather), Ann Veile (grandmother), Joe Veile (grandfather), Joel Bertoldie (nephew), and Trent Borland (brother-in-law).
Rick is survived by his mother Barbara Martin of Oak Grove, MO; his father Richard Beebe of Monmouth, IL; his daughter Lacy Brimer (Cale) of Lancaster, MO; his son Aaron Camp of Memphis, MO; his grandchildren – Calain, Bentley, Dahlia Brimer, and Brantley Camp; his siblings – Stacey Thompson (Jim) of Kansas City, MO; Stephanie Borland of Oak Grove, MO; Debi Boling (Rod) of Kansas City, MO, and Patrick Garrett (Jamie) of Columbia, MO; his nieces – Jordan Garrett (TJ), Megan Borland (Jose), Makayla Hipsher (Gabe), and Jada Garrett; and his nephew Koda Bertoldie (Nikki). Rick also had a special relationship with his aunt Linda Jennings and her daughter Tiffany Johnson (Mike).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to KC Pet Project on Rick’s behalf. Celebration of Life TBA.
