Kimberley Diane Kramer(née Potts), 61, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home alongside family on July 17th, 2026. Born on August 24th, 1964 in Kansas City, MO, she was the third of five children born to Paul E. and Esther M. Potts.
A graduate of Northwest Missouri State University (undergrad) and University of Central Missouri (graduate), Kim was a devoted public educator for the Odessa R-VII and Fort Osage R-I school districts, where she taught English Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies until her retirement in 2020. In addition, she was an honor society and school yearbook supervisor as well as a dedicated building representative with the Missouri School Teachers Association for Osage Trail Middle School and the Fort Osage MSTA President. She was deeply involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives, taking special care to help with costuming, hosting, and teaching at every opportunity. She enjoyed sewing and had rededicated her time to quilting and embroidery in her later years, often finding fellowship among others who enjoyed her craft. Above all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren, watching them grow and learn.
