Known by many as Mom, Grandma, Debbie or just Deb. Daughter of Bobby & Elizabeth Wyatt, Debra was born and raised in Grain Valley, Missouri with her two brothers. She was a single mother who taught her daughters independence, strength, resilience and the importance of family. She poured her life into raising her daughters and later in life, into her grandchildren. She enjoyed the simple things in life like gardening, board games & puzzles, coffee dates, spending time with close friends and family, moon gazing, spontaneous adventures, visiting Dana, grandkid sporting events and a cold beer on a hot day. She was never too busy making a living to forget to make a memory and believed in giving back to the community.
Debra was a very humble and giving person and left this earth with no regrets. What meant most to her was time spent with those she loved. When asked what made her a good mom, she responded with; desperation, dreams, love and guilt.
Survived by beloved daughters, Dana Chaney and fiancé Shareef Tahboub of Earlysville, Virginia, Darla Keller and husband John Keller of Grain Valley, Missouri. Step-daughter Tonya Chaney-Skinner. Grandchildren, Cole, Mackenzie, Hudson, Emersyn, Laith & Ramzey. Mother, Elizabeth Wyatt of Blue Springs, Mo. Brothers, Robert Wyatt and wife Susan, and David Wyatt and wife Retta. And countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her father Bobby L. Wyatt of Oak Grove, MO.
Services: A casual affair as requested by our mother. She even gave it a name, “A Celebration of Life, and there ain’t going to be any crying”
