David Wayne Clampitt, 60, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018.  Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20^th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

David was born October 19, 1957, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Paul R. and Lillian E. (Jones) Clampitt.  He enjoyed mowing the lawn, being outside, hunting, fishing, and tinkering in his garage.  He loved his family, and especially loved playing with his grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his mother; son, Dustin in 2002; and his first wife, Diane.

His survivors include his wife, Brenda S. Clampitt of the home; daughter, Davina Garrett (Edward) of Independence, MO; son, David Clampitt Jr. (Rebecca) of Independence; stepson, Stephen Chambers (Julie) of Rich Hill, MO; his father, Paul Clampitt of Oak Grove; three siblings: Paula Wieland of Oak Grove, Kim Clampitt (John) of Oak Grove, and Ronald Clampitt of Lee’s Summit, MO; and eight grandchildren.
