
Annie Josephine Haynik, 72, of Bates City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3rd at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Bates City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Annie was born September 29, 1948, in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of Leonard and Annie (Schultz) Slatter. She attended Bates City Baptist Church, enjoyed traveling, and loved animals, especially her pets. Annie loved her family and adored her grandchildren.
Her survivors include her husband, Richard Haynik of the home; daughter, Suzanne Shipman (Kevin) of Bates City; son, Michael Gross (Mickie) of Oak Grove; brother, Johnny Slatter of Texas City, TX; four grandchildren: Monica Fortner, Kelly Snelling, Timothy Zeller, and Raichal Green; and eight great-grandchildren.
