Harry Edgar Keutzer, 95, of Napoleon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21st at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the University of Missouri Agribility Project c/o Karen Funkenbusch, 232 Agricultural Engineering Bldg, Columbia, MO 65211.
Harry was born in Creighton, Missouri, the son of John and Lillian Keutzer. He married Johnnie Bradbury in May 1942. Harry was a farmer all his life, farming in Missouri, Minnesota, and Iowa. He was a common sight at the Blue Springs and Lee’s Summit Farmers Markets, where he was a vendor for the last 6 years. Harry enjoyed collecting antiques and toy tractors. He also worked for Spee-Dee delivery as a security guard for many years in Minnesota. Harry was a very giving person and was a foster parent to many foster children. He will be remembered as a great brother, father, and grandfather, that loved his family and the land.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Johnnie; and his daughter, Susan Olsen.
His survivors include two sons: Ralph Keutzer (Lila) of Prairie City, IA, and Virgil Keutzer (Stacy) of Napoleon; daughter, Donna Oraskovich (Larry) of Sturgeon Lake, MN; two brothers: Wayne Keutzer of Creighton, and Harold Keutzer of Hohenwald, TN; eight grandchildren: Travis, Brent, Shawna, Dan, Lea, Lori, Joshua, and Jonnie; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. Harry will be greatly missed.
