Eleanor L. Kintz, 79, of Bates City, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26th at Rolling Meadows Christian Church, Odessa, MO; burial in Odessa Cemetery, Odessa. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25th at the church. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or Home of God’s Love in Lo Dong, Taiwan, ROC.
Eleanor was born April 3, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Faye Vernon and Reola (Cooper) Harriger. She was a pharmacy technician for the State of Missouri. Eleanor enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Rolling Meadows Christian Church.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
Her survivors include her husband of 60 years, Richard Kintz of the home; two daughters: Karen Johnson (Alan) of Bates City, MO, and Susan Taylor (Jonny Yu) of Taiwan; two sons: Allen Kintz (Debbie) of Blue Springs, MO, and Larry Kintz (Cheryl) of Odessa; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
