Donna Marie Long, 65, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial following in Ebenezer United Church of Christ Cemetery, Levasy, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Donna was born on April 9, 1953 in Kansas City, MO, daughter of Donald and T. Marie (McNamara) Thompson. She was a very giving person, an avid animal lover, always helping out the elderly, and was a member of Evangelistic Center Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers.
Donna is survived by 6 siblings, George (Cathy) Thompson of Butler, MO, Butch (Marsha) Thompson of Odessa, MO, Sherry (Larry) Adreme of Ft. Pierce, FL, John (Victoria) Thompson of Odessa, Abe (Luann) Thompson of Bates City, MO, and Danny Thompson of Grain Valley; and many nieces and nephews.
