Manion, Melissa D. (nee Robinson) of Blue Springs, Missouri was born May 20, 1956 in Oceanside, California to Raymond Ralph Robinson and Mary Ruth (nee Mason) Robinson and entered into rest on October 29, 2019 in her home in Blue Springs, Missouri at the age of 63 years, 5 months, and 9 days.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Ralph Robinson.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Megan (Matthew) Todd of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Lauren Manion of Kansas City, Missouri; her mother, Mary Ruth Robinson of Farmington, New Mexico; two sisters, Vanessa Scott and Teresa Milton of Farmington, Mexico; along with many other family and friends.
Melissa was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved everyone around her from the bottom of her heart, and always wanted to make people smile. Melissa was an X-Ray Technician at Diagnostic Imaging Centers for 18 years. She loved sitting on her deck, gardening, antiquing, and playing pool/poker. Melissa was a good friend to all and will be forever missed by all that loved and knew her.
There will be services at the Eagles Club at 10220 E. 47th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64133 on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 from 2-4pm for family and friends to come together to celebrate Melissa’s life.
The family wishes that all Memorial Donations are made to the Sarah Cannon Fund for Cancer Research in memory of Melissa Manion.
