Fred Junior Milleson, 89, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Blue Springs, 4500 Little Blue Parkway, Independence, MO. A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. also at the church, with a burial in Blue Springs Cemetery after the service.
Fred was born on October 29, 1927 in Braddyville, IA, son of Fred and Bertha (Anderson) Milleson. He was in the US Army for 4 years and served in the Korean War. He worked at the post office for 36 years. He loved baseball, traveling to Colorado, seeing the mountains and playing the piano. Every person he met loved him.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Betty Milleson; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.
His survivors include 2 daughters: Twila Adair (Skip) of Grain Valley, MO, and Linda McCrary (Doug) of Kansas City, MO; 6 grandchildren: Christopher Latimer (Rosie), Angela Russell (Brandon), Brandon Latimer (Amy), Andrea Madden (Chris), Justin McCrary (Jayme), and Kristen Dawson (Tyrel); 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
