Charles Eugene Mountjoy, 74, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Charles was born January 8, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Robert C. and Margaret B. (Mahoney) Mountjoy. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Charles was a painter in commercial construction. He enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns, football, country music, and playing games with his family. He especially enjoyed talking and visiting with people.
Charles is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Mountjoy of the home; daughter, Stacey Villegas of the home; two sons: Steven Mountjoy of Kansas City, MO, and Cody Mountjoy of Florida; and three grandchildren: Megan Villegas of Idaho, Juan Villegas, and Isabella Villegas, both of the home.
