Millard Eugene Myers Jr, 72, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 24th at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Millard was born on July 31, 1944 in Paola, Kansas, the son of Millard Sr. and Marijane (Nicholson) Myers. He retired after 25 years of service as an account reconciliation Specialist at DST systems. Millard enjoyed his friends and neighbors in the Stone Haven subdivision. He loved traveling and the outdoors, and he attended Kansas City Royals spring training in Arizona several times.
Millard was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy. His survivors include his brother, Lonnie Myers; nephew, Gerid (Amy) Myers; and niece, Wynter Myers, all of Wichita, Kansas.
