Richard LeRoy Powell of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 13th at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14th at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Richard was born in Blue Springs, Missouri, the son of Virgil A. and Nina E. (Scott) Powell. He owned and operated Powell Real Estate for 62 years.
Survivors include: His wife, Diana Powell of the home. Danielle (Jeremy) Chrisco, Haden, Nevaeh, Haley. Madison Greco, Craig Greco (Alison) Brady, Kylie. Sister Jennie (Tom) Soetaert, Tommie (Becky) Soetaert, Ashley, Tiffanie. Don (Laura) Soetaert, Emily, Brian. Sherri (John) Stubblefield, Justin, Matthew, Devin.
