Virginia “Lucille” Riley, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015. There will be a celebration of life ceremony – date yet to be determined, family and friends will be notified. Family and friends are encouraged to make a donation to Crossroads Hospice in lieu of flowers.
Lucille was born March 31, 1939, in Gashland, the next to the youngest child of Leslie and Anna Mae Garrett. She retired from North Kansas City Hospital in 2006. Lucille loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved watching movies, walking her beloved dogs and going to garage sales.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leslie Phillip Garrett Jr and Robert Keith Garrett.
Her survivors include her children: Cindy Stickley and husband Harry of Odessa, Judith Brown and husband Marland of Blue Springs, Gail Burrus of North Kansas City, Tammy Weakley of Liberty, Joe Riley and Fiancé Stacy Geyer of Lee’s Summit, Jennifer Riley of Independence; two sisters: Joyce Ann Garrett of Hermitage and Dorothy Burch of Anthem, AZ; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
