J. Sue Sheek, 76, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Sue was born July 29, 1942, in Pyatt, Arkansas, the daughter of Jesse and Oza (Tabor) Adams. She was a housewife and enjoyed taking care of her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Sue was a member of the Faith in Christ Fellowship and attended the Oak Grove Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and going to garage sales.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and one sister. Her survivors include her daughter, Michelle Williams (Mike) of Odessa, MO; two sons: Shaun Sheek of Oak Grove, and Kevin Sheek of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Ronnie Abrams (Joyce) of Pyatt, AR; two grandchildren: Brittany Janes (Josh) of Odessa, and Ayden Williams of Odessa; two great-grandchildren: Tristen Janes and Landon Whited; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
