Robert Wayne Stumfoll, 66, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his home in Independence, Missouri. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 2nd New Salem Funeral Home, Independence. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Bob was born July 5, 1950 to Robert and Phyllis (Blevins) Stumfoll. He grew up in Independence and attended Van Horn High School. Bob married Linda Ann in January 1968 and together they had 4 children. He worked as a mechanic for 25 years, before getting into construction.
Bob is survived by his life partner, Debbie, and her daughter, Becky, of the home. He also leaves his three sons: Robert “Buddy” Stumfoll of Liberty, Michael Stumfoll of Colorado, and John Stumfoll of Independence; daughter, Deni Keyser of Oak Grove, MO; twelve grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; an aunt and uncle, Betty and Roger Costigan; five sisters: Pamela, Denise, Renee, Missy, and Jeannie; brother, Eddie; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was loved by many friends and will be missed by all.
