
Agnes Marie Tucker, 87, of Independence, Missouri, lost her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s and entered into heaven, Saturday, July 8, 2017. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with funeral services immediately following on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Agnes was born on February 1, 1930 in Kansas City, MO to Frank and Margaret (Polito) Cascairo. She was united in marriage to her husband of 62 years, Irvine Tucker on October 25, 1954. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and loved being with them. She was a devout reader and loved to cook for her family.
Agnes is preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Bill Rhoades; 2 brothers, John Cascairo and Joseph Cascairo. She is survived by her husband, Irvine Tucker of the home; 3 children, Pamela (John) Yates of Henderson, NV, Donald (Kim) Tucker of Camdenton, MO, and Deborah Isbell of Grain Valley, MO; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchild. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
