Steve Carl Williams, 59, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12th in Concord Cemetery, Bates City, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses. Please dress casually.
Steve was born November 8, 1960, in North Kansas City, MO, the son of Marvin C. and Patsy J. (Helm) Williams. He married Patty L. Speakman on July 16, 1977. Steve had a reputation for telling you how things were going to be and didn’t worry about hurting your feelings. He enjoyed gardening with Patty and spoiling his animals. He collected firearms and protecting his family was his #1 hobby.
Steve’s survivors include his wife, Patty; three children: Nathan, Eathan, and Stephanie Williams; two brothers: Brian Williams and Phillip Williams; his aunt, Linda Hotmer; and numerous pets. He was preceded in death by his parents and his great-aunt Belle.
