
David Ralph Hazen, 75 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away in his home on Sunday January 3, 2021. No services at this time.
David was born November 21, 1945 in Waynesville, MO to Ralph C. and Vivienne (Potter) Hazen. On July 18, 1970 he married Jeanette Fostich and they shared over 50 years together. David loved to fish, golf and spend time with his family. He also loved to watch college sports, especially the Missouri Tigers. David attended Newburg Highschool, Southwest Missouri State University, and UMKC school of pharmacy. He then moved to Marceline, Mo where he owned Hazen’s Drug Store. He was an active member of the community, member of the housing authority, deacon of Bethany Baptist church, president of the school board, and member of Rotary club. He was also a member of the Army reserves.
David was preceded in death by his brother James Hazen, Ralph and Vivienne Hazen, and his infant brother Christopher Hazen.
David is survived by his wife Jeannette Hazen of the home, sons: Lee Golding and wife Debbie of Springfield, MO, Tom Golding and wife Julianna of Leawood, KS, David Hazen and wife Mollie of Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter Jennifer Wooster and husband Jeff of Lee’s Summit, MO. He also had 9 grandchildren.
