Sean Gentry Standeford, 39, of Oak Grove, Missouri, was called to the Lord on January 9, 2021. He was born on October 7, 1981, in Kansas City, MO to Bobbi Rae Standeford.
Sean graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2000. He worked for the Railroad and then became a master electrician with 124 IBEW. He also worked for ABC Roofing. Sean loved spending time with his family and friends, the Kansas City Royals, and Ford Mustangs.
Sean was preceded in death by his uncle, Shawn Wlodarski in 2007, and great-grandpa, Gerald Freels in 2016.
His survivors include his mother, Bobbi Rae Standeford of Bates City, MO; Sean Fergason of Kansas City, MO; brother, Alan Hicks of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Nauni (Hicks) Fortner of Independence, MO; grandparents, Kirk & Verna Freels of Oak Grove; great-grandmother, Rai Freels of Independence, MO; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of Bates City, MO.
A Celebration of Sean’s Life will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23rd at the Fieldhouse, 1300 E. White Road, Oak Grove, MO 64075.
