Thomas Lee White, 79, of Blairstown, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8th in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Golden Valley Memorial Hospice.
Tom was born October 8, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Claude and Bertha (Duncan) White. He married Nancy S. Whitaker on August 28, 1959. Tom was a member of the Heavy Construction Laborer’s Union Local 663 for 50 years, where he held the position of Vice President for 25 years. He was a gun enthusiast, enjoyed hunting, and especially loved spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy White of the home; four children: Debbie Galloway of Kansas City, MO, Tommie White of Blairstown, MO, Brenda Collins (Ron) of Independence, MO, and Mike White (Tammie) of Grain Valley, MO; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren plus one on the way; and two sisters: Shirley Ballowe of Oak Grove, MO and Pam Watts of Odessa, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents.
