Charles E. Sisk Jr.


Charles Edward Sisk, Jr. age 89 died of natural causes in his home on February 19, 2021 in Sibley, MO. Visitation will be 1-2pm Wednesday February 24, 2021 with a Funeral Service to follow at 2 pm at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Burial at New Salem Cemetery. Rev. Paula Isgrig will officiate.

Charles Edward Sisk, Jr. was born on February 01 in 1932, to parents Charles Edward Sisk, Sr. and Roxie Mae Magnolia Wilburn.  He attended Couch High School in Couch, Mo. Charles E Sisk was a great family man and a loving father.  He married Beverly Jo Transier on 28 June 1950.  They were married almost 71 years and had 3 children, Phillip, Carolyn and Steven Sisk. Charles was an active man who was deeply involved barbering in Kansas City, Mo for around 8 years.  He also dabbled in real estate and in farming for the majority of his life.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  His family and friends will always remember him as a hard-working person.

Charles was preceded in death by his brother Mickey Sisk, of Alton, MO.; his sister Maxine Sisk, of Alton, MO.; his sister Geraldine Melton, of Couch, MO.; his brother Waldo Sisk, of Sibley, MO.; his brother Cleo Sisk, of Independence, MO; his sister Evelyn Spencer, of Rantoul, KS. and by his son, Steven D Sisk, of Sibley, MO.

Charles Edward Sisk, Jr. is survived by his wife, Beverly Jo Sisk, of Sibley, MO.; his son Phillip (Georgene)Sisk, of Sibley, MO.; and his daughter Carolyn Joyce Mullins, of Sibley, MO.; four grandchildren, Kristi Sisk of Kansas City, KS., Tim Mullins of Sibley, MO., Brian Mullins of Sibley, MO and David Mullins of Sibley, MO. And

great-grandchildren, Ashton Mullins, Gage Davis, Logan Mullins, Kayden Mullins, Kendahl Bodenhamer, and Kilee Mullins along with many other family members and friends

Pallbearers; Tim Mullins, Kristi Sisk, Brian Mullins, David Mullins, Kayden Mullins, Andy Botts and Jeff White.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Charles’s life.  The family would like to thank everyone for attending and all their thoughts and prayers. ~~Rest in Peace~~
