Shane Sawyer Triplett, 20, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24th at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sawyer Triplett Fund, ℅ Central Bank of the Midwest, 500 Broadway, Oak Grove, MO 64075.
Sawyer was born on February 7, 2001, in Blue Springs, Missouri, the son of Shane M. and Andrea M. (Hackley) Triplett. He was a 2019 graduate of Oak Grove High School. Sawyer was employed at VLP: An EquipmentShare Company as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving his Camaro, and spending time with his family and friends.
His survivors include his mother, Andrea Triplett; brother, Hayden Triplett; sister, Kynslee Triplett; his father, Shane Triplett and fiancé Lacey Wallace, and Caden, Colston, and Creed; grandparents: Jim and Pamela Hackley, and Charley and Judy Triplett; one aunt, Shawna Chaney (Brian); four uncles: Scott Triplett (Elena), Shawn Triplett (Mary), Zachary Triplett (Rosa), and Tyler Hackley; fourteen cousins: Brooke, Breauna, Adeline, Cole, Dalton, Hunter, Rhys, Damian, Trent, Mattie, Brett, Dominic, Addison, and Joseph; and many other family members.
