Sue Alewine, 76, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21st at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20th at the funeral home.
Sue was born August 24, 1942, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Edward E. Sr. and Mary E. (Conrad) Queen. She was a housewife and enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, playing board games and bingo, and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings: Edward Queen Jr., Norma Ellis, Joyce Hay, and Gary Queen.
Her survivors include her husband, Paul Alewine of the home; three sons: Randy Alewine (Tina) of Warsaw, Kevin Alewine (Suzanne) of Jefferson City, MO, and Rodney Alewine (Kari) of Oak Grove; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four siblings: Bob Queen of Oak Grove, Dennis Queen (Jennifer) of Catoosa, OK, Tom Queen (Sheba) of Sugar Creek, MO, and Becky Mitchell (Terry) of Lincoln, MO.
