Sherry Annette Cash, 67, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Carmel Hills Living Center, Independence, after a very brief battle with cancer. A Memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 12th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. the family will receive friends from 1-1p.m. preceding the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Royer Funeral Home, 100 Royer Lane, Grain Valley, MO 64029.

Sherry was born November 11, 1940 in Independence, MO the daughter of William & Louise (Julian) Burcham. She was a graduate of Blue Springs High School. She married shortly after graduation and became the mother of a son & two daughters to whom she showed a lifelong devotion of unselfish sacrifice and love. Sherry worked for 25 years as a purchasing agent for the Medical Center of Independence & Research Hospital. The last four years, she has worked at Noland Towers as an assistant manager.

His survivors include a son: John Cash & wife Cathy, two daughters: Karla Howard & Cindy Cash, her mother: Louise Burcham, and a sister: Billie Dodson, all of Independence; a brother Rob Burcham of Lee’s Summit, MO; nine grandchildren; and four nephews & two nieces. Her father and brother Steven Burcham preceded in death.

Sherry will be remembered as a selfless, giving mother, grandmother & friend.
