Connie Marie Eastland, 44, of Raytown, MO, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 11, 2008. Services will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends at Royer’s from 6:00 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the family for her children’s education fund.

Connie was born July 13, 1963 in Kansas City, MO, daughter of Clarence & Tennie (Hamby) Eastland. She was a homemaker and mother.

Her parents; a sister, Linda Fultz; and a brother, Danny Johnson preceded her in death.

Her survivors include her companion: Jim Hornbeck of the home; two sons: Chris Eastland of Independence, MO & Michael Hornbeck of the home; one daughter: Sara Hornbeck of the home; one sister: Gerry Krueger of Muldrow, OK; five brothers: James Moore of Ava, MO, Bill Van Zant of Philadelphia, PA, Ted Johnson of Lee’s Summit, MO, Fred Johnson of Muldrow, OK & Ronnie Eastland of Ohio; and one granddaughter: Linda J. Eastland.
