Betty J. Elliott


Betty Jeanne Elliot, 78, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away January 5, 2008. An inurnment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday, January 11th. Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family suggests contributions to Cross Creek Baptist Mission, Grain Valley.

Betty was born on September 27, 1929, in Fayetteville, AR, the daughter of William K. and Mary (Campbell) Hall. She graduated from Fayetteville High School. Betty married Loye L. Elliot on October 15, 1965. They moved to Grain Valley in 1984. Betty was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Mission, the Quilt Club of Grain Valley, and the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her parents and on stepson, Monty Joe Elliott in 2001.

Her survivors include her husband off 42 years, Loye Elliott of the home; two sons: Michael Ray Dana of Centerton, AR and Paul Allen Elliott & his wife, Erin, of Oak Grove, MO; three daughters: Carol Dana Chapman & her husband, Ted of St. Peters, MO, Mari-Jo Wilkes & her husband, Dale of Holts Summit, MO, and Rebecca Meyers of Platte City, MO; two step-daughters: Deborah A. Henson & her husband, Robert of Suffolk, VA, and Jane Scott & her husband, Michael of Hindsville, AR; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother: Robert Hall of Fayetteville, AR.
