Janet Louise McMichael age 66 of Kansas City MO. went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday June 24, 2018. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2018 6 p.m. at the Country Meadows Baptist Church in Independence, MO.
Janet was born September 12, 1951 in Kansas City, MO. the daughter of Ervin Eugene Scott and Violet Lou (Manning) De Maggio. She worked as a file clerk at the federal building in Kansas City MO. until her retirement. Janet was a loving mother and grandmother who liked to sew, knit, crochet and cook. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Duane “DJ” Williams Jr., two brothers, Robert and Gerald Scott, and one sister, Catherine Ramirez.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Patricia Turley of Independence, MO. five grandchildren, Amber Turley of Taloga, OK. Joshua, Allyssa, and Allicia Turley all of Blue Springs, MO. and Jacob Turley of Independence, MO. six great grandchildren, three sisters Liz (Rick) Ramirez, Beatrice (Richard) Clemons and Nina Scott. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and her faithful companion Scrappy. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
