Veta A. Minton, 82, of Grain Valley, MO passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Blue Springs. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Royer’s Grain Valley.

Veta was born September 6, 1924, in Vinalhaven, ME, the daughter of Harvey & Belva (Butler) Minton. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1942, Kansas City Junior College in 1944, and Warrensburg Teachers College in 1946. She taught in Levasy & Laddonia (MO) before moving to Arizona until retiring and moving back to Missouri in 1992. She was a member of the Colbern Road Restoration Branch of the Church of Jesus Chrits. Her parents and sister, Melva Minton preceded her in death.

Her survivors include many cousins and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
