Lois Parker, 77 of Buckner, MO passed away November 19, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. Friday November 21, 2014 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 22 at the funeral home. Burial in Buckner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made in Lois’s name to Kansas City Hospice 1500 Meadow Lake Pkwy, Ste 200, Kansas City, MO 64114.

Lois was born July 16, 1937 in Carroll County, MO to Katherine (Woods) Mason.

August 21, 1960 Lois married Richard Parker. She was a school teacher at Ft. Osage Junior High School.

Lois was a member of Oak Grove Bible Church, MO and Retired Teachers Assoc. She enjoyed attending sporting events, reading, cooking, wrapping beautiful presents and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by her husband Richard Parker of the home; 1 daughter: Kim Phillips (Scott) of Blue Springs, MO; 1 son: Terry Parker (Kim) of Independence, MO; her twin sister: Mary Ann Slattery of Chillicothe, MO; 3 grandchildren: Samantha Parker, Paige Parker, Shayla Phillips.
