Kendra DeLynne Patton, 36, of Oak Grove, MO passed away on August 25, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30pm Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Fleming Park Meeting Hall, Blue Springs MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the family c/o The Patton Family, 36308 E Gardner Dr., Oak Grove MO 64075. They will then make one monetary donation in Kendra’s name to: The Texas Assoc. for Dysautonomia Awareness (TADA).
Kendra was born in Kansas City MO on September 3, 1977. Kendra worked as an Administrative Asst. in the legal and construction fields for many years until being diagnosed with Dysautonomia. She enjoyed scrapbooking, collecting teddy bears and sharing the message of God’s Love. She loved being part of her nieces and nephews lives; they were the children she never had. Kendra was also actively involved in research and a contributing member to the Dysautonomia Foundation. Dysautonomia is an umbrella medical term used for a group of complex conditions that are caused by a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system.
Kendra is survived by her parents: Larry & Violet Patton of Oak Grove MO; siblings: Shannon (Gary) Miller, Tracy Hughes, Shayne (Abigail) Patton, Tiffany Egleston; her beloved nieces & nephews: Christina (Kyle) Proctor, Brittany Miller, Katie (Beau) Ryun, Kimberly Walleck, Brett Miller, Bree Miller, Bayleigh Miller, Aubrey Patton, Jayde Patton, John Hughes, Taylor Egleston, Xander Patton, & Stormie Murphy; and other family and friends.
