Philip Pecoraro Jr., 72, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Friday, September 27, 2019. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3rd at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Vietnam Veteran Memorial Fund.
Philip was born on December 25, 1946 in Kansas City, MO, son of Philip and Genevieve B. (Wheeler) Pecoraro. He was a 1964 graduate of Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas. Philip was a Vietnam Veteran, Army and a member of Charlie Company, 199th LIB 2/3 The Old Guard. He worked many years in the office machine industry, then for the North Kansas City School District where he retired from. Philip enjoyed trout fishing and loved the outdoors and camping. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Mary Pecoraro.
His survivors include his daughter, Kristine Fox (David) of Grain Valley, MO; grandsons, Matt Fox of Columbia, MO and Joseph Fox of Columbia, MO; and ex-wife, Lynette Pecoraro of Kansas City, MO.
