Patricia Eilene Rhodes, 76, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11th at the funeral home.
Patricia was born August 3, 1943, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Hubertine (Neissen) Maize. She was loved by everyone she came across – at work, at home, and in the neighborhood. Patricia had broad experiences traveling across the country with her parents, Tina and Roy Rigdon, and Sharon. She was very generous, patient, and faithful. Patricia was a lifelong Christian. Her suffering of being separated from Kenneth in 2005 is now thankfully over. Patricia never doubted that she would see him again. She loved dogs and had three at the time of her passing. Special thanks to her three main caregivers – Paul Rhodes, Mona Rhodes, and close friend, Brenda Parker.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 38 years, Kenneth Rhodes.
Her survivors include two sons: Paul Rhodes and his wife Jane of Odessa, MO, and Stephen Rhodes and his wife Mona of Independence, MO; sister Sharon Hartman and her husband Tom; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Patricia was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
