Howard Robertson, Sr., 76, of Wellington, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6th at First Baptist Church of Wellington. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Wellington.
Howard was born on May 26, 1943, in Springfield, Missouri. On August 3, 1963, he married Mary Jarman. To this union were born three children: Howard Robertson Jr. “Rob”, Charles Robertson, and Marticha (Robertson) Rose. Howard worked for 25 years at Kenworth Dart as a painter. He retired from Midway Ford. Howard enjoyed riding his motorcycle for years with his wife. They had many adventures together and made sure that they visited every state. They even shared a ride on Daytona Beach and enjoyed the ocean. Howard fell in love with classic cars and that soon became his passion and hobby. He and Mary went to many car shows to show off his classic car and won several awards. Doing so, they met some great people who are like family and will remain family. They spent a lot of time at car shows and enjoying life with their car family. Howard was a wonderful man, father-in-law, and proud grandfather, papa, and great-grandfather.
Preceding Howard in death were his parents and his brother. Surviving are his wife Mary Robertson; his three children: Howard Robertson, Jr. “Rob” and wife Veronica, Charles Robertson and wife Tracy, and Marticha Rose and husband Fran; 11 grandchildren: Travis Robertson, Kyle Robertson, Justin Robertson and his wife Jessica, Taylor Robertson and Payten Rose, Rick Nelson, Brett Nelson, Ashley Lawson, Chelsea Makowski, Anthony Fares, and Kenny Fares: 11 great-grandchildren: Caden Robertson, Colby Robertson, Journie Robertson, Piper Nelson, Lanie Nelson, Jace Nelson, Summer Lawson, Jordan Makowski, Scarlett Fares, Kane Fares, and Karter Fares; a brother-in-law, Terry Jarman and wife Danni; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a beloved car show family that he thought of as his brothers and sisters.
