Robert “Bob” Romines, 77, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16th at Cross Creek Baptist Church, Oak Grove, MO. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans of America.
Bob was born July 31, 1942, in Success, Missouri, the son of William L. and Arlena (Wolfe) Romines. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a long-time employee of Western Union. Bob enjoyed country music, playing golf, pitching fast-pitch softball, and spending time with his family.
His survivors include his wife of 41 years, Barbara Romines of the home; 2 daughters: Janet (Brad) of Allen, TX, and Sabrina of Sugar Creek, MO; 3 grandchildren: Jason, Jordan, and Tyler; 6 ½ great-grandchildren; and 6 siblings: Imogene, John, Glenabelle, Vernita, Faye, and Kaye. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Charles and Beulah.
