Kenneth D. Rose, 78, of Bates City, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, February 26, 2018.  Private services.  Donations in his name are appreciated to the National Kidney Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Avenue, #204, Overland Park, KS  66202.

Ken was born November 1, 1939, in Kennett, Missouri, the son of Schultz and Anne (Findlay) Rose.  He married Elaine Ferman in 1976.  He was a Mason and member of Ararat Shrine.   

Ken is survived by his wife, Elaine Rose of the home; son, Scott Rose and his wife Amy; daughter, Melissa and her husband Chris Modlin; and his sister, Dana and her husband John Prijatel.
