Pauline Evans Tripp, 91, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 10th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.; burial at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Pauline was born February 24, 1923 in Atlanta, GA the daughter of William Thomas & Altie Cynthia (Hudson) Evans. She married Garland D. Tripp on September 6, 1941 and they were married for 73 years. They spent the winter months in Harlingen, Texas. Pauline was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking & sewing, and was active in church and sang in the church choir. Pauline was a Baptist by faith.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Garland Tripp of the home; two sons: Montie Tripp & wife Marge of Oak Grove, MO, Gary Tripp & wife Nita of Raymore, MO; one sister: Dorothy Taylor of Rogers, AR; five grandchildren: Jamie Franz & husband Greg, Kyle Tripp & wife Megan, Stacy Elam & husband Jason, Chad Tripp & wife Tara, Courtney Parks & husband Jerry; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
