Edna Mae Turner, 93, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away on February 28, 2006, at St. Mary’s Hospital of Blue Springs. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Rouer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial in Concordia Cemetery, Concordia, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Edna was born on July 6, 1912, in Concordia Missouri, the daughter of Richard and Hennrietta (Kresse) Mieser. She married Homer Turner on December 24, 1943. Edna was a homemaker and lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Grain Valley. She lived flowers, gardening, and the time spent with family and friends.
Her survivors include: her husband of 62 years: Homer Turner of the home; one daughter: Diana Stevenson of Springfield, MO; one grandson: Andrew Stevenson of Houston, TX; many dear and beloved nieces and nephews.
