Berta Alicia Tobar, 71 of Kansas City, MO passed away December 25, 2021. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church 10021 E. 36th Terr. Independence, MO 64052. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
Berta was born June 20, 1950 in El Salvador to Julio Menendez & Juana Penate. She enjoyed family time together and was the hostess of all the family gatherings. Berta enjoyed going to the Casino.
Berta was preceded in death by her parents: Julio Menendez & Juana Penate.
Berta is survived by her husband Carlos Tobar of the home; sons: Rafael Tobar (Claudia) of Lakewood, CA, Gerber Tobar (Linda) of Blue Springs, MO, Charles Tobar (Jeanette) of Liberty, MO; daughter: Mayra Farias (Felipe) of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren: Angie, Jasmine, Jennifer, Herbert, Jessica, Jesse, Erick, Carlos, Julie, Isaac, Jeremiah, Leah, Ethen, Elias, Emily; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Elba, Corina, brothers: Jose Angel, Rene, Ernesto, Fredy and many nieces and nephews.
