David passed away on 3/29/22, with his family by his side, at his home in Independence, MO. He was born on 1/28/1966 in Independence, MO. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1984. David married Cindy on February 7, 1986 in Independence, MO, they were happily married for 36 years. He worked at CMT Trucking as a truck driver and loved his job. He loved sports and was an avid Chiefs fan. David also enjoyed the outdoors and making people laugh. He was dedicated to his family and truly enjoyed spending time with them. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by Wife: Cindy Lutjen, Daughters: Ashley and Jessica Lutjen, Sons: Justin and Ryan Lutjen, Grandchildren: Lexee and Levi Berry, Mother/ Stepfather: Judith and Richard Hausmann, Father/Mother-in-Law: Jerome and Roxcea Green, Brother/Sister-in-law: Michael and Paula Walters, Brother: Donny Lutjen, Nieces and Nephew: Bryan, Kristin and Jolie Walters, Great Nieces: Remi and Rylee, Close friend: Debi Wilson Dogs: Moose and Gracie.
Celebration of life will be held on Sunday April 10th, 2022 from 2-6pm at the VFW Hall 12810 E. Kentucky Road, Independence, MO 64050.
