Doris I. Murphy, 92 of Kansas City, MO passed away April 13, 2022. Visitation will be 1:00-1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m.
Doris was born April 9, 1930 in South Bend, IN to Ernest &Frances (Kisor) Eddleman.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 21. Doris attended the Grandview Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed playing cards and loved to go out dancing and shopping. Doris loved spending time with her family and many friends. She was a very private, but loving person.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Robert Murphy; parents: Ernest & Frances; 2 sisters; daughter: Margie Motsinger; son: Eddy Alexander and a set of twin great-grandchildren.
Doris is survived by 2 daughters: Carrilea Logan & husband James of Blue Springs, MO, Sharon Alexander of Independence, MO; 1 son: Randall Alexander of Independence, MO; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter on the way.
