I knew Alan from our days together at Gambro Healthcare in 1998. He was a regional biomedical manager and was a very involved and hands-on individual. We worked together for many years at Gambro and also when he was a regional manager for DaVita when I was a water system specialist for Gambro and Mar Cor. I was saddened and shocked to hear of his passing from one of Alan’s fellow teammates at DaVita, where I now work as a biomedical technician. He leaves a great legacy behind him. He will be missed.

I met Alan early in my biomed career. He was dedicated and passionate about making sure the patients who were treated on our equipment was safe. We spent much time working together and his integrity was unmatched. I was truly shocked to hear of his homecoming. I am better to have known him. Blessings on his family. He will truly be missed.

Alan was very near and dear to my heart…working with him many many years in dialysis. It was my honor to help care for him also. He is an incrediable person and brought knowledge and joy to my life as a nurse in dialysis. He will sorely be missed. Hugs to Carol, Kyle and Sara.
